Gas Grill Bbq Ribs

On my good steak on the hot gas grill, Please advise?

Every time I get a rib-eye or T-bone, put it on the grill, sear both sides and return a few minutes later to see that the juices ran down under the grill and `inflamed, causing the meat to burn. This never happens with cheap steaks, and is bothering me. Has this happened to anyone else, or I'm doing wrong?

Reduce the heat, but also try to move the fillets. If your grill has dual burners close the lid and move the steaks to one side is outside. Can not find a cool place. Another thing you can do is get those charcoal briquettes that look and put over the flames and heat on gas grills. They last forever and will spread the grease fire to their food is less likely to burn. GL!
