What is the difference between a propane grill and propane only / natural gas grill?

Obviously, it is said that use different types of gas, but what I mean is how they are designed or constructed. IE small holes in the burners. I wanted to know because my natural gas grill can not get hot enough to burn a hot dog.

Natural gas has less BTU propane so the opening is larger for natural gas. It is common knowledge quite common that the hole is higher for natural gas, but most people do not realize that the controls are usually different and original equipment in the racks of different fuels. If you convert a natural gas grill to propane without changing cartridges, control, controls too much fuel is allowed through. This will cause the controls to have little influence on the flame than to turn. Rather, if converted from propane to natural gas without changing Cartridges of the passages are too small. The flame is well in the heat, but control will reduce the flame much as soon as you move down the temperature. They also have little control over the fire than to turn off. The only other difference is that the unit propane regulator requires a drop in cylinder pressure at a constant 11 "wc (approximately 1 / 2 psi) so that the flame is constant. A natural gas grill does not need a regulator than the one on the subway. The rest of the apparatus is the same. If your grill is made may not have the new cartridges or the flame is not set properly on the burner. Must be nice even blue flame. No color orange, and not "dance" on the burner too.
