outdoor teak furniture to attract bees?
We just bought a set of outdoor patio is made of teak wood. For some reason, a assortment of bees wasps and yellow jackets are attracted to it. No nest under the table or anything. What makes them so in love with the furniture, and how I get rid of them? I have tried to spray wasp and hornet spray on them, but still come back …
I had a similar problem, but had a nest under the chair. Once retired, he had no problem. Check all the furniture in a hive, may be hidden in a corner under a chair or very small indeed. The All I can think of is that they are attracted to the oil that is used to finish furniture. You can try to clear the furniture out and gently rub or wipe down to see if that helps.
