Any pointers on designing a home bar?
I'm getting a house built bar (it would be mostly wood), and am looking to find advice on design and material finishes.
as a contractor i seen all kinds of bars made of wood and is really a personal preference as what you want, I like alder looks good and is very durable, granite for bartop is the best for looks and maintenance, most bars are built directly but if you have the space and money to consider a curved bar, it adds a little style and allows greater seating capacity in the bar … to finish a couple of layers varnish will be sufficient unless you have a top of the wooden bar where people go to keep beverages, so your elbows and then use 3 coats of spar varnish on the top.Also reflect on the shelf behind the bar where the bottles of alcohol will be stored, wall mounted glass shelves are better and more practical to use, do not forget the band stand for the people sitting at the bar will have a place to put your feet. good luck

my friend is an architect and I want my house with my design (just like my design)?
Two questions can do that ?????? and how How long will it take for him to do if the first floor ….. has a bar, kitchen, dining room, game room, living room 2 garages, home office, 1 bathroom, laundry room and second floor has six bedrooms 2 bathrooms 2 3 closets walkinclosets normal backyard has a patio and a pool that is 3-6 feet deep and 180 centimeters (15 ft) of 396 centimeters (33 feet), please answer the two would help a lot !!!!!!!!! ps is the pool for only ps I forgot If anything the beach in Naples!
